{"id":882,"date":"2021-08-20T18:52:17","date_gmt":"2021-08-20T18:52:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.estarser.net\/communiques\/?p=882"},"modified":"2021-08-21T14:06:52","modified_gmt":"2021-08-21T14:06:52","slug":"vintage-estarser-research-film-amazing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.estarser.net\/communiques\/?p=882","title":{"rendered":"Vintage ESTAR(SER) Research Film (Amazing!)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes the post brings <em>the most extraordinary things.\u00a0<\/em> As many readers will know, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.estarser.net\/communiques\/?page_id=775\">Milcom Memorial Room and Attention Library<\/a> has been closed for much of the Pandemic, and that has meant a considerable backlog of correspondence.\u00a0 On a recent visit, the current B.B. Chamberlin Fellow collected a satchel of snailmail and two shoebox-sized packages postmarked Chattanooga, Tennessee.\u00a0 The latter, it has turned out, convey to the archive a remarkable clutch of ESTAR(SER) ephemera, most of which dates to the 1960s and early 1970s.
